1995 Firehawk Literature

In 1995 the Firehawk package was available for the all formula model and required the R6V RPO code. It came as a OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) option which was covered under the standard GM warranty of 36 months or 36,000 miles. The Firehawk option had a MSRP of $5,995 and included:

*) Lightweight Composite Hood with Functional Cold Air Induction Package unitizing modified Coverette Air Cleaner
*) 17" x 9" Speedline Alesio Aluminum Alloy Wheels (Convertibles got 16" x 8")
*) P275/40ZR17 Firestone Firehawk tires
*) Distinctive "Firehawk" graphics
*) Interior Commemorative Plaque Listing Build Number
*) Stainless Steel Exhaust tips

Options:

*) $1,199 Performance Exhaust Package including all stainless steel components:
  3" intermediate pipe, freer flowing muffler and two 2.5" tail pipes
  this option is known as "Two On The Left" or TOTL
*) $299 SLP Hurst short throw shifter with H shift knob
*) $99 Premium front floor mats with embroidered Firehawk Logo
*) N/A Chrome plated rims - this was offered, but never delivered because of production issues
*) $1,599 Level II Bilstein Sport Suspension Packagee(not available on convertibles)

The Firehawk package increased the horsepower from the stock 275 bhp to 300 bhp or 315 bhp with the exhaust package and the stock torque was increased from 325 ft-lbs. to 330 ft-lbs. or 342 with the exhaust package.
